Tela 16 zrtava NATO napada su izvucena iz ruševina civilnih kuca u Surdulici, medju kojima je jedanaestoro dece, starosti od pet do 12 godina, javlio je dopisnik Tanjuga. Spasilacke ekipe su do sada izvukle zrtve NATO napada iz dve kuce. NATO avijacija je ispalila 15 projektila na centar Surdulice u utorak, na iskljucivo civilne objekte. Predsednik Skupštine opštine Surdulica Miodrag Stoiljkovic je rekao da se strahuje da bilanas zrtava nije konacan, jer treba da se uklone ruševine sa još 18 porušenih kuca. U napadu NATO agresora na Surdulicu, koja ima 15.000 stanovnika, uništeno je 50 stambenih objekata, a znatna oštecenja pretrpelo je više od 500 porodicnih kuca. Prema recima ocevidaca, najmanje 20 osoba je bilo u podrumu u porodicnoj kuci Aleksandra Mirica u Zmaj Jovinoj ulici, koja je uništena do temelja.
