Akademik Dejan Medakovic (predsednik SANU, Beograd): Od skora, od 24. marta ove godine, u kojoj do kraja jos nije iskorenjena cast i dostojanstvo, Evropa je dozivela dan kada je novi poredak ispoljio svoje prave namere i oglasio bezobzirnu borbu ka osvajanju globalne svetske vlasti. Postali smo svedoci kraja jaedne istorijske epohe sa svim posledicama koje ce se ubrzo otkriti. Pokazace se, po ko zan koji put u istoriji, kakva se opasnost krije kada se brutalnom silom poremete dugi i s mukom izgradjivani medjunarodni odnosi, a odbace jednom ustrojena nacela pravde koja svet stite od novonastalog varavrstva.
Academician Dejan Medakovic (president of SANU, Belgrade): Not so long, from March 24. this year, year that has some of honor and dignity left, Europe lived to the day when new world order showed it's true intentions and declared ruthless fight for conquering the world. We became witness of end of historical epoch with all consequences that soon will be revealed. It will be seen, who knows for what time in history, what kind of danger is behind brutal force that destroys long and with pain built international relations, a throw away known principles of justice that protects the World from new born barbarians.
Akademiker Dejan Medakovic ( Präsident von SANU, Belgrad): Seit kurzem, seit 24. März dieses Jahres, in dem die Ehre und die Würde noch nicht ganz entwurzelt sind, erlebte Europa den Tag, in dem die neue Weltordnung ihre echte Absichte ausdrückte und den rücksichtslosen Kampf für die Eroberung der Weltmacht annoncierte. Wie wurden die Zeugen des Endes einer historischen Epoche, mit allen Konsequenzen, die bald bekkant sein werden. Dragan Kolarevic (zamenik republickog ministra za kulturu, Beograd): Nocas (23. 4. 1999.) je NATO, osim zgrade televizije, unistio decje pozoriste "Dusko Radovic" i decji kulturni centar. To je jos jedan u nizu dokaza da je agresija na Jugoslaviju, koju, u stvaru, vodi Amerika, napad na Evropu, na evropsku kulturu i tradiciju. Od prvog dana agresije, njihovi mediji su tvrdiji da oni, u stvari, zele da oslobode Srbiju. I evo, oslobadjaju nas od skola, bolnica, mostova, pruga, kulturnih spomenika i institucija kulture. Cini se da su resili da Srbiju oslobode od Srba, tj. da Srbi nestanu sa ovog prostora koji se zove Srbija. Vec su milioni ljudi bez sredstava za zivot. Do sada su to najznacajniji rezultati njihove agresije.
 
 

Dr Miodrag Maticki (direktor Instituta za knjizevnost i umetnost, Beograd): Jugoslavija sluzi silama NATO pakta za najgnusnije eksperimente. Postala je poligon za isprobavanje najsavremenijih sredstava za unistavanje, aviona, raketa: na nju se bacaju enormne kolicine bombi za koje su vlasnici, doskora, strepeli da ce im isteci rok i da nece imati gde da ih upotrebe. Apelujemo da, udruzeni sa svetskim javnim mnjenjem, stanemo na put, da se zalozimo za prekid bombardovanja i pobede razuma i mirnog resavanja svih konflikata, da ratne eksperimente zamene naucni eksperimenti, da se slobodno razmenjuju naucni rezultati za dobrobit covecanstva, da satanizaciju pojedinih naroda zamene dela nacionalnih disciplina koja ce priblizavati narode, upoznavati naucnu i siru javnost sa njihovom tradicijom, istorijom, kulturnim, umetnickim i duhovnim vrednostima. Dr Miodrag Maticki (director of Institute for literature and arts, Belgrade): Yugoslavia is object of NATO's forces for the most horrible experiments. It became polygon for testing the most modern means for destroying - airplanes, rockets, enormous quantity of bombs, for which their owners before long were afraid of their time of using and that would be useless. We are appealing to stop the bombing and, allied with public opinion all around of the world, engage ourselves for victory of mind and peaceful solving of conflicts; experiments of war should be substituted with scientific ones and scientific results should be freely exchanged for the benefit of mankind. Satanization of nations should be replaced with bringing closer works of the same nations and with taking the information by scientific and wider publicity about their tradition, history, cultural , artistic and spiritual values. Dr. Miodrag Maticki (Direktor des Instituts für literatur und Kunst, Belgrad): Jugoslawien dient den NATO Pakt Kräften für scheußlichten Experimenten. Es wurde polygon für die Proben zeitgenössischester Zerstörungsmittel, Flugzeuge, Raketen: die menge von Bomben, die an Jugoslawien geworfen sind ist enorm. Das sind die Bomben, deren Besitzer, vor kürzem, befürchteten, daß sie unbrauchbar werden werden und daß sie sie nicht mehr gebrauchen werden können. Wir appelieren, mit der Weltöffentlichkeit vereinigt, daß das Bombardement stoppt und der verstand gewinnt, so daß alle Konflikte auf Friedensweise gelöst werden könnten. Wir appelieren, die kriegerische Experimente für wissenschaftliche Ergebnisse zu vertauschen, die wissenschaftliche Ergebnisse zum Wohlstand der Menschheit freilich zu tauschen. Der Satanismus einzelner Völker soll vertauscht werden, für die Werke nationaller Disziplinen, die die Völker nähern werden und die wissenschaftliche und weitere Offentlichkeit mit ihre Tradition, Geschichte, kulturelle und geistliche Werte vertraut machen. 

Dr Slobodan Remetic (direktor Instituta za srpski jezik, Beograd): Ovo je najsramniji dogadjaj posle II svetskog rata. Prvi put svetska armada cini, nadam se, strasnu gresku - agresiju na suverenu drzavu. Imam puno razumevanje za poredjenja sa Hitlerovim pocetkom i razumevanje za misljenje da je njegov pocetak imao "vise opravdanja" nego ovo sto radi Amerika sa svojim satelitima. Ovo je cin bez presedana i prvi put NATO pakt napada jednu suverenu drzavu koja nikoga nije napadala ni napala. Nikada nijedan agresor nije zavrsio zapoceti napad kao pobednik, pa nece ni Amerika. Ovo je pocetak kraja NATO pakta. Obistinice se narodna mudrost: jos jednom kopaju sami sebi raku i ovo ce im se vratiti kao bumerang. 
Dr Slobodan Remetic (director of Institute for Serbian language, Belgrade): This is is most ashamed event since World War II. First time, world armada is making, I hope, terrible mistake - aggression on a sovereign country. I have plenty of understanding for comparison with Hitler's beginnings and understanding with thought that his beginning had "more excuses" then what America is doing today with it's 'satellites'. This is an act without precedence and for first time NATO attacks one sovereign country that never in it's history attacked anyone. Never in history no aggressor finished it's attack with a victory, neither will America. This is beginning of the end for NATO pact. People's saying will come true: they are digging grave for them self, and that will hit them like a boomerang.
Dr. Slobodan Remetic (Direktor des Instituts für Serbische sprache, Belgrad): Das ist das schändlichste Ereigniss nach Zweitem Weltkrieg. Zum erstenmal macht die Weltarmada, ich hoffe, einen großen Fehler -die aggression gegen den souveränen Staat. Ich habe voll Verständnis für die Vergleichungen mit dem Hitlers Anfang und Verständnis fürs Meinen, daß sein Anfang ,, mehrere Rechtfertigungen" hat, als das, was Amerika mit den Sateliten macht.Das ist die Tat, noch nicht dagewesen, und zum erstenmal, greifft NATO an. einen souveränen Staat, der niemand weder angegriffen hat, noch angreifft. Kein Aggressor beendete seinen Angriff als Gewinner, Amerika wird auch nicht. Das ist der Beginn des Endes vom NATO Pakt. Das Geisteserzeugnis des Volkes wird sich verwirklichen: noch einmal graben sie ih eigenes Grab und das, was sie machen, wird ihnen wie ein Bumerang zurückkehren. 

Cedomir Mirkovic (knjizevnik, direktor IP Prosveta, Beograd): Ne mogu da poverujem da zapadne zemlje prave ovakvu kolosalnu glupost. Posebno SAD. Amerikanci jure teroristu Bin Ladena, a pomazu i naoruzavaju njegove sticenike medju pripadnicima takozvane OVK. Clanovi OVK su pljackasi i ubice i vecina je dosla na Kosovo i Metohiju iz Albanije. Amerika manipulise kosovskim Albancima, koji ce da budu zrtve njenog eksperimenta. Zato americka administracija tako neodgovorno zaboravlja da su Srbi strateski saveznici zapadnih zemalja i Amerike.
Cedomir Mirkovic (writer, director of IP Prosveta, Belgrade): I can't believe that western states are making huge stupidity like this. Specially USA. Americans are chasing terrorist Bin Laden on one hand, and they are helping and arming members of so-called OVK on the other. Members of OVK are murderers and criminals, and most of them came to Kosovo and Metohia from Albania. America is manipulating with Albanians from Kosovo, and they will be casualties of their experiment. That is why American administration is forgetting that Serbs are their strategic allays. 
Cedomir Mirkovic (Schriftsteller, Direktor des Verlagunternehmens Prosveta, Belgrad): Ich kann nicht glauben, daß die westlichen staatendiese kolosalle dummheit machen. Besonders die Vereinigten Staaten. Amerikaner jagen den Teroristen Bin Laden, und auf die andere Seite, helfen sie und ausrüsten seine Schützlinge, die Mitglieder von so genannte OVK. Die Mitglieder von OVK sind Mörder und Verbrecher und meistens kamen sie nach Kosovo und Metohija aus Albanien. Amerika manipuliert mit Kosovoalbanern, die die Opfer Amerikas Experiment sein werden. deswegen vergißt amerikanische Administration so unverantwortlich, daß Serbien strategischer Verbindete westlicher Staaten und Ameikas ist. 

Jovan Popovic (direktor Arhiva Jugoslavije, Beograd): Ozlojedjen sam cinjencom da su potomci jednog naroda koji je iznedrio velikog Sekspira, naroda koji je iznedrio Getea, Igoa, Lorku, Dantea, naroda koji je ugostio Teslu i Pupina - da su njihovi potomci agresori i da cine genocid nad srpskim narodom i kulturom.
Jovan Popovic (director of Archive of Yugoslavia, Belgrade): I am bittern with the fact that descendants of people that gave Sheakspear to the world, people with names like Goethe, Hugo, Lorka, Dante in, and people that gave shelter to Tesla and Pupin, became aggressors and that they re committing genocide over Serbian nation and culture.
Jovan Popovic (Direktor des jugoslawisches Archives, Belgrad): Ich bin erzürnt mit der Tatsache, daß die Nachkommen eines Volks, das den großen Shakespeare der Welt gab, des Volks dem Goethe, Hugo, Lorka, Dante angehörten, des Volks, das Tesla un Pupin bewirtete-daß seine NachkommenAggressoren sind und Genocide gegen serbische Nation und Kultur machen. 

Dr Dragoljub Dragan Nedeljkovic (profesor univerziteta - emeritus, redovni clan Evropske akademije u Parizu): Zasto Kosovo treba da ostane srpsko? Ne samo zato sto je to oduvek bilo i sto je sveta srpska zemlja, nego zato sto ako ostane u sastavu Srbije, svi ljudi narodi i sve vere imace puna prava. Ukoliko bi Kosovo pripalo Siptarima, niko ne bi imao osnovnih ljudskih prava, pa cak ni trezveni Siptari. Ako se Kosmetu pristupa sa stanovista demokratije, jasno je da demokratiju i prava coveka mogu obezbediti samo Srbi i oni koji su drzavi Srbiji verni.
Dr Dragoljub Dragan Nedeljkovic (profesor of university - emeritus, member of Europian Academy in Paris): Why Kosovo needs to stay Serbian? Not just because it has always been and because it is Serbian Holy Ground, but because if it stays in Serbia people of any nation and faith will have same rights. If Kosovo becomes Albanian, nobody would have any of basic human rights, even not all Albanians. If you look Kosovo from side of democracy it is quite clear that democracy and humans rights can be provided only by Serbs and those loyal to state of Serbia.
Dr. Dragoljub Dragan Nedeljkovic (Universitätsprofessor-emeritus, Mitglied von Europäische Akademie in Paris): Warum solltest Kosovo in Serbien bleiben?Nicht nur weil es immer eine Teil Serbiens war und weil es ein heiliges Land ist, sondern wenn Kosovo die Teil Serbiens bleibt, werden alle Nationen und alle Religionen volle Rechte haben. Falls Kosovo den Albanern angehörtet, hättet niemand Grundrechte, sogar nicht alle Albaner. Wenn man von demokratischer Seite Kosovo herantretet, wird es klar, daß nur Serben und die Leute, die den Staat Serbien treu sind, Demokratie und Grundrechte sichern können. 

Prof. dr Vasa D. Mihailovic (White Chapel, North Carolina): Sa ogorcenjem protestujem protiv nehumanog bombardovanja gradova i sela Srbije. Ne mogu da verujem da na pragu 21. veka ne moze da se nadje civilizovanije resenje kosovskog problema. U ovom ratu nema pobednika, svi smo gubitnici. 
Prof. dr Vasa D. Mihailovic (White Chapel, North Carolina): I am protesting bitterly the bombing of Serbian cities and villages. I cannot believe that, on the threshold of the 21st century we cannot find a more civilized solution of the Kosovo problem. There are no winners in this war, we are all losers. 
Prof. Dr. Vasa D. Mihailovic (White Chapel, North Carolina): Ich protestiere stark gegen unhumanistisches Bombardement von Städten und Dörfer Serbiens. Ich kann nicht glauben, daß keine zivilisatorischere Lösung des Kosovoproblems nicht gefunden werden kann, jetzt, an der Schwelle der 21. Jahrhunderts. Es gibt keine Gewinner in diesem Krieg, wir verlieren alle. 

Prof. dr Borko Krstic (dekan Ekonomskog fakulteta, Nis): Danas smo ponovo, ne nasom voljom, izlolzeni agresiji bez presedana. Okrivljuju nas za stvaranje humanitarne katastrofe, za nacionalicam, za totalitarizam, za nepostojanje ljudskih prava i sloboda, za mitomaniju. Recju, optuzuju nas oni kod kojih su navedene kategorije samo deklarativni pojmovi, kod kojih su prisutne samo forme, ali ne i sustina. Iskreno se nadam da Srbija nece biti mesto gde ce zapoceti i treci svetski rat. Mnogo bi to bilo, tri puta u jednom veku, za jednu malu zemlju. Medjutim, nadam se da ce nas otpor NATO-u predstavljati civilizacijski preokret - da ce sve proklamovane civilizacijske vrednosti: ljudska i nacionalna prava, demokratija, ravnopravnost, osim forme dobiti i adekvatnu sustinu.
Prof. dr Borko Krstic (dean, Faculty of Economy, Nish): Today, we are under aggression with no precedent. They are blaming us for humanitarian catastrophe, for nationalism, for totalitarism, for banning of human rights and freedoms, for lies. In one word, we are accused by those who are familiar with those categories only in declarative form, those who knows only forms but not the essence. I hope that Serbia won't be the place where World War III started. Three times in one century is far too much for a little country like ours. But, I hope that our resistance to NATO will be turnaround for civilization - all proclaimed civilized values: human and national rights, democracy, equality will exist not only in form but in their essence. 
Prof. Dr. Borko Krstic (Dekan der Fakultät der Okonomie, Nis): Heute sind wir wieder, ohne daß wir es wollten, der noch nicht dagewesenden Aggression ausgesetzt. Wir werden för humanitärische Katastrophe, Nationalismus, Totalitarismus, Un-Bestehen der Grungrechte und Freiheiten angeklagt. In einem Wort, wir werden von denjenigen angeklagt, bei denen nur Formen, aber nicht der Kern da ist. Ich hoffe, daß Serbien kein Platz an dem Dritte Weltkrieg beginnt sein wird. Dreimal in einem Jahrhundert, das wäre zu viel für so einen kleinen Staat. Doch, ich hoffe, daß unser Widerstand gegen NATO zivilisatorische Wendung sien wird-daß alle zivilisatorische Werte: menschliche und nationalle Rechte, Demokratie, Gleichberechtigung, außer dem Form auch adequäten Kern bekommen wird. 

Prof. dr Tomislav Pavlovic (Filozofski fakultet, Nis): Jednostavno, ovo je vandalizam. Najkrace receno, to je odsustvo duha, nepostojanje morala, nepoznavanje istorije i tradicije. Uplaseni nismo, ali nam je zao sto svet ide u ovom pravcu. Mi imamo istorijsku sansu da Srbiju stavimo na jake noge. Srbija je stvarana hiljadu godina. Njena dugovecnost ne daje sansu NATO paktu da je unisti. 
Prof. dr Tomislav Pavlovic (Faculty of Philosophy, Nish): Simply, this is vandalism. Shortly sad, it is absence of spirit, lack of moral, not knowing of history and tradition. We are not scared, but we are sorry because world is going in that direction. We have historical opportunity to put Serbia on strong foundations. Serbia was created during a thousand years. Her longevity gives is not giving any chance to NATO pact to destroy it.
Prof. Dr. Tomislav Pavlovic (Fakultät der Philosophie, Nis): Das ist einfach Barbarismus. Einfach gesagt ist das Existenz ohne Geist, ohne Moral, Unkenntnis der Geschichte und der Tradition. Wir haben Angst, aber es tut uns leid daß die Welt in diese Richtung geht. Wir haben historische Chance Serbien auf den starken Beinen anzustellen. Serbien wurde während Tausend Jahren kreiert. Die Langlebigkeit Serbiens gibt dem NATO Pakt keine Chance es zu zerstören.

Dr Jovan Delic (Filozofski fakultet, Beograd, Novi Sad): Gore sve srpske prestonice koje su jos ostale u Srbiji: Gori Beograd kome je to istorijska privilegija u svakom ratu. Ljuto je odbranjen Novi Sad, srpska Atina. Osakacen je Kragujevac. Zapaljen je Lazarev Krusevac. Razorena je Pristina. Udaren je carski Prizren. Plamen lize iznad Smedereva. Grmi oko zidina Rasa. Sreca sto je Skoplje u Makedoniji!
Napadnute su prestone crkve: Geleri su obelezili Zicu dedmovratu, centar srpske arhiepiskopije. Uzdrmana je Pecka patrijarsija. Gori Kraljevo nadomak Studenice, majke srpskih crkava. Gracanica je sva u ranama. Gori Srbija, duhovna i svjetovna, razapeta na kosovskom krstu. Gori. I pjeva.
Dr Jovan Delic (Faculty of Philosophy, Belgrade, Novi Sad): All Serbian capitals still left in Serbia are now burning: Belgrade is burning by it's hystorical privilege in every war. Novi Sad had been fircely defended, Serbian Athens. Kragujevac is crippled. Lasar's Krusevac on fire. Prishtina is devastated. Czar's Prizren has been hit. Flames are over Smederevo. Thunders around Ras. Luckily, Skoplje is in Macedonija!

Vladimir Vojnovic (knjizevnik, Minhen): Saosecam sa vama, zelim vam svima da prezivite ove crne dane, i, uopste, da opstanete. Ja, naravno, osudjujem akcije natovskih stratega, nasilne i glupe. Tesko resive probleme oni su ucinili neresivima, i sami sebe naterali u corsokak iz kojeg nema izlaza. (iz pisma Udruzenju knjizevnika Srbije)
Vladimir Voinovic (writer, Munich): I compass with you, I wish you to survive these black days and, generally, to exist. I, of course, condemn actions of NATO's strategist, violent and unintelligent. Hard solve problems they have made unsolved, and forced themselves in the blind road from witch there is no exit. (From the letter to Association of Serbian writers)
Vladimir Vojinovic (Schirtsteller, Münich): Ich fühle mit euch mit, ich wünsche ihnen diese schwarze Tage zu überleben und, überhaupt, zu bestehen. Ich verurteile, natürlich Aktionen von NATO Strategen, die gewaltsam und dumm sind. Die Problemen, die seht schwer zu lösen waren, machten sie unlosbar und zwangen sich zur Sackgasse ohne Ausgang.(aus dem Brief dem Verein der Schriftsteller Serbiens) 

Prof. dr Dragoljub Zivkovic (Filozofski fakultet, Pristina): Nema istinskog napretka u ljudskoj istoriji sve dok politika i politicari ne budu pronacli sredstva i metode da narod ne pati, ne strada, ne bude egzistencijalno ugrozen od njihove politike. NATO politika je vrhunac politickog besmisla, cinizma i nasilja. Ako takva politika stavi pod svoju upravu celo covecanstvo, covecanstvo ce ici ka Hadu a treba mu izbavljenje od zla i besmislene smrti. Mora covecanstvo vaskrsnuti da bi nastupila era uma i istinskog stvaralastva. 
Prof. dr Dragoljub Zivkovic (Faculty of Philosophy, Prishtina): There will be no true historical advancement in human history as long as politics and politicians don't find means and methods that will discard peoples sufferings, that will stop hurting of people, and not to be indangered with their politics. NATO politics is top of political nonsense, cinisam and violence. If such politics puts whole humanity under it's rule, humanity we'll be going to Had and it needs to be saved form evil end destruction. Humanity must for be resurrected so that we could have real age of mind and true creativity. 

Zoran Mosorinski (glavni urednik Sveta Kompjutera, najtiraznijeg YU kompjuterskog casopisa): Vodjenjem osvajackog rata na ovako brutalan nacin, Amerika pokazuje svoje pravo lice. Napadom na jednu suverenu zemlju pogazena su sva nacela Ujedinjenih nacija, dok je raketiranje kompleksa petrohemije Pancevo direktno kršenje zenevske konvencije na koju se Amerika stalno poziva kad njoj to odgovara. Potrebno je celom svetu pokazati da postoji samo jedna jedina sila, za koju ne vaze nikakva pravila, a kojoj se svi moraju pokoriti. Medutim, istorija je pokazala da nikada ni jedan agresor nije završio zapoceti rat kao pobednik pa nece ni ovaj. Na nama je da izdrzimo.
Zoran Mosorinski (editor in chief, World of Computers, most printed YU computer magazine): Leading war for conquer on such a cruel way, America is showing it's true face. With attack on soveriegn country, all chapters of United Nations are broken, and bombing of chemical complex in Pancevo is direct violation of Geneva convention, that American government likes to call upon when it's suitable for them. Whole world needs to see that that there is only one superpower, that respects no rules, and that everybody shoud bow before it. But history showed us that no aggressor ended war that had started - as a winner. And that's how it will be this time. It's up to us to withstand.

Dr Nadezda Obradovic (Elektrotehnicki fakultet Beograd): Posto se vec duze vremena interesujem za Africku literaturu, naucila sam kroz radove africkih pisaca o svom zlu i teroru ropstva i kolonijalizma. Sve ove africke zemlje su slobodne i nezavisne drzave. Nisam ni sanjala da moja zemlja moze postati meta imperijalizma i nemoralnog ponasanja, koja uz pomoc najsofisticiranije tehnologije pokusava da unisti suverene drzave i njihove narode.
Ali ja ne gubim nadu da ce pravda i istina pobediti.
Dr Nadezda Obradovic (Faculty of Electrotechnical, Belgrade): Since I have been interested for a long time in African literature, I have learned through the works by African writers about all the evils and terrors of the slavery and colonialism. All these African countries are now free and independent States. I had not ever dreamed that my county will become the target of the world imperialism and its amoral behavior, not hesitating to use the most sophisticated lethal technology to destroy sovereing States and their people.
But I do not lose the hope that the justice and truth will finally win.

Tiodor Rosic (knjizevnik, urednik "BIGZ"-a, Beograd): NATO pakt sa Sjedinjenim americkim drzavama zla bombardujuci srpski narod, sprovodi doktrinu amerizma. Amerizam je moderna verzija fasizma. Cetvrti Rajh je nanovo oziveo i svet se mora zastititi od NATO ideologije zla.

Goran Stankovic (knjizevnik, urednik casopisa "Gradina", Nis): Obicno se kaze da za vreme rata, dok govori oruzje, muze cute. Ili da za vreme rata prva strada istina, takodje i lepota, duh, smisao, sreca. Mozda je sve to tacno, ali intelektualac, pogotovo onaj koji se izrazava recima, ne moze a da upravo recima osude i soka ne izrazi svoj revolt i protest protiv napada na vlastitu zemlju i narod, svoju nadu u trenutni mir i povratak zapadnog i svetskog razuma, kao i svoje uverenje da svaki rat ima i svoj period "posle". U prirodi ljudskog bica je da se bori za prezivljavanje, trpeci muke i nevolju, stradanja i nepravdu, kao i ceo srpski narod sada, ali i da upire svoj pogled ka buducnosti. U toj buducnosti mi cemo ipak morati da zivimo zajedno, kako srpski narod koga sada surovo bombarduju, tako i narodi zapada ciji avioni to cine. Pitanje je etike, ko ce se stideti vise, napadnuti ili napadac.
